The team at Beall Law Offices is devoted to your personal injury claim, be it a claim against a nursing home, an at-fault driver, a negligent property owner or any instance where a person is hurt by another’s negligence. Beall Law is small enough to know, value, and work tirelessly for every client, and big enough to have the resources and knowledge needed to stand up to the insurance companies, nursing home chains and corporations to represent you and your family. Your claim is important, your injuries are real — and justice matters.
Elizabeth Todd Beall has practiced law since graduating from Wake Forest Law School in 1996. She has practiced all over the state of North Carolina, representing families in domestic court, corporations in bankruptcy court, defendants in criminal court, and, finally, families against insurance companies and nursing home chains. She was representing clients in court before she even got out of law school – having the opportunity to work for Legal Services of North Carolina representing the poor in Charlotte during her summers in law school.
Since 2000, Elizabeth has devoted her practice to representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect against insurance companies and nursing home and assisted living chains. At a time when most lawyers rejected these cases as not worth pursuing, Elizabeth recognized the need to protect the frail elderly in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. At Beall Law, we believe our senior citizens are worth protecting. It is our mission to improve the quality of care and quality of life for our seniors who represent the most vulnerable and least protected among our citizens.
We realize that mission in many ways. Among them are the ways that Elizabeth has worked to improve the conditions for the frail elderly in our state: Serving as chairman of the North Carolina Association for Justice’s Nursing Home Litigation Section for two years, speaking at state and national trial lawyers’ nursing home seminars and, most recently, serving on the Board of Directors for Friends of Residents of Long Term Care – the state’s only non-profit advocacy group devoted exclusively to improving the condition of the frail elderly in our state.
Elizabeth is an active member of the following professional organizations:
- The American Association for Justice
- AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group
- North Carolina Advocates for Justice
- NCAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group
- North Carolina State Bar
- North Carolina Bar Association
- The National Consumer Voice for Quality Long Term Care
- Friends of Residents in Long Term Care (Member of the Board of Directors)
Elizabeth has taught legal education courses to other lawyers in North Carolina and nationwide.
The frail elderly are our most vulnerable and our least protected. The nursing home chains cut corners and cut costs and patient care suffers. When your loved one has been hurt by their corporate decisions, you need Beall Law Offices.
